'52 Heavy Relic Tele

We like to spotlight our unique and ever evolving inventory on Guitar Sale, but there are some “standards” that just need to be showcased. The grand-daddy of all Twang Beasts is Fender Custom Shop’s 52 Heavy Relic Telecaster! It doesn’t get much better than this.
Much to a chicken picker’s delight, the 52 Heavy Relic Telecaster can lay down barn bustin’ licks with the greatest of ease thanks to its 9.5” radius fretboard. Another great feature of this guitar is the full feeling neck that gives you plenty to hold on to while you are burning up the stage. The neck has the very slightest hint of a “V” shape while retaining the full feeling of a “U” shaped neck. These have just the slightest bit of meat taken of the shoulder (this is why it is considered a “V” shape). The back of the neck is expertly worn through for that broken-in feel.
The combination of the light-weight ash body and the maple neck/board gives this guitar a phenomenal bite with a quick attack and snap that all country players love. Roll of the tone control on the neck pickup and you’ll be comping jazz licks until ‘round midnight! While plugged into your favorite tweed amp, turn it all to 12 and you’ll be in rock and roll heaven!
Where I live all the bars shut down about 2 a.m., thankfully with the light-weight body you’ll be able to stand up straight when you’re done! Thanks to the wonderfully heavy relic’ed body you won’t have to hide behind the chicken wire. You can use your guitar as a bat for all of those beer bottles thrown at you while playing the Rawhide theme…it all adds to the character.
