One characteristic that all the Korina PRS guitars share is a clear, focused sound with just the right amount of bite and brightness to their tone. The PRS McCarty pickups lend to the great sustain of this instrument with the added benefit of a push-pull that splits them.
The versatility of both the humbucker sound and the single coil-esque sound is an added tonal bonus. Like many PRS guitars, this has a 25” scale length. This adds a nice “snap” to the tone, while allowing the guitar to have a very comfortable feel to the string tension. I personally love the PRS wrap-around style stoptail bridge. There are absolutely no intonation problems up and down the neck of this guitar and I can’t help but think of how much the stoptail adds to the sustain of the guitar.
